By using Kardz, you acknowledge and accept these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. Kardz reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, with changes becoming effective immediately upon posting.

2. Use of Kardz

By using this service, you agree that you will not:

• Modify, copy, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the website or its software.
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices.
• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Transmit spam, harassing, or indecent content.
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights or violate others' privacy.

3. User Accounts & Authentication

• Users register via Kinde authentication using email and password.
• Your account is personal and cannot be shared or transferred.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. AI-Generated Content & Moderation

• Kardz provides AI-generated text and images for greeting cards.
• Content moderation is enforced using NSFW.js and Perspective API.
• Kardz reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or ethical standards.

5. Intellectual Property

• Kardz owns or licenses all website content, software, and branding.
• Users retain ownership of their submitted content but grant Kardz a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute content.
• If you delete your content, the license ends, except where Kardz has used the content in promotions or AI training.

6. Payments & Transactions

• Payments are processed via Stripe; Kardz does not store payment information.
• Users may purchase credits to generate AI images.
• Kardz may modify pricing and subscription terms at any time.

7. Liability & Disclaimers

• Kardz is provided "as is" without warranties.
• Kardz is not responsible for user-generated content or third-party services.
• To the extent permitted by law, Kardz is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Data Privacy & Security

• Kardz collects and processes data per our Privacy Policy.
• User-uploaded images for greeting cards are not stored permanently.
• Birthday reminders and user details are only stored with explicit consent.

9. Account Termination

• Kardz may suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.
• Users may delete their accounts, with data removed per our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
• Disputes shall be resolved in courts of Victoria.
